How do I invoice users monthly for a subscription?

In order for an invoice to be issued automatically when a subscription is due, the program requires that:

  • The subscription not have a credit card on file.
  • The "Action For Cardless Renewals" option be set to "Invoice User". This can be found under "Shop > Subscriptions > Options".

In the event that the subscription meets these criteria, the user's subscription will be processed as if a transaction was successful (meaning the subscription billing cycle will be set to the next correct bill date), however the user's access to the content associated with the subscription will not be renewed until the invoice is settled.

The user will be emailed an invoice when his/her subscription fails to renew.
