Email Theme Overview

All e-mail themes are rendered in the following fashion:

  • Header
  • Specific Template
  • Footer

Header

The header contains the top section of your email. This generally includes style sheets and your logo or company name.

The program will automatically take the styles on the "email_styles.css" file and apply them to the correct elements on the final email. This ensures that the outgoing email is formatted properly.

Template

This content is rendered between the header and footer and contains the applicable content for the email being sent, taken from the template.

Sub-Templates

Many templates have "sub-templates" that are rendered and and then added into the primary template through special caller tags.

Footer

The footer contains the bottom section of your email.

The program will automatically add some elements to this section, including tracking code.
