Membership Website

Overview

Your "Membership Website" is the front page from which your users can access the membership components of your organization. The program features a full CMS to manage all content.

Your membership website can be found at the following location:

• http://members.yoursite.com/Remember that you will need to change "http://members.yoursite.com/" to the actual URL at which Zenbership is installed.

Content

There are several types of content:

• Sections: Group of pages.
• Pages: A webpage on your website.
• Secure Folders: A physical folder on your website that is secure from general access.
• Redirections: A redirection from one page to another.

How Pages Are Rendered

Pages are rendered through the HTML template system. The template system works as follows:

• Header
• Page content. Rendered within the "Default Content Page" template.
• Footer

Note on Content Security

The program allows you to establish security on both a "Section" and "Page" level. For this reason, any page within a secure section is instantly off limits to non-members or members who do not have access that content.

An additional layer of security can be applied by securing a page within an already secured folder. In this case, the member would need access to both the secure section and the secure page. One or the other would not be enough to access the secure page within the secure section.

So in the above example, a member trying to access the "Basic Videos" page would only need access to the "Members Only" section to view that page. However a member trying to access the "Premium Videos" page would need access to both the "Members Only" section and the "Premium Videos" page. Finally, a non-member would not be able to access any page within the "Members Only" section.
