Departments
Overview
Departments allow you to assign employees to a specific department.
Creating Departments
- Click on "Employees" in the top right corner of the control panel.
- Click on "Departments" in the secondary navigation.
- The "Departments" popup will appear.
- Click on "[+] Add New Department". A new empty cell will appear.
- Type the name of the new department into the empty cell.
- Click on "Save" to create the new department.
Assigning Employees to a Department
This can be achieved when creating or editing an employee. To set a department for an existing employee:
- Click on "Employees" in the top right corner of the control panel.
- Click the username of the employee that you want to edit.
- The employee slider will appear.
- Under "Additional Details", select the department to which you want to assign this employee under the "Department" drop down.
- Click on "Save" to apply the changes.
