Notes, Appointments, and Deadlines

Overview

The notation system allows you to write "notes" that are then associated with an item, such as a contact or member. Some types of notes, however, have special meaning.

Deadlines

Deadlines are dates by which something needs to be completed. Any time you input a "Deadline" for a note, the note is instantly considered a "Deadline" note and will therefore appear in the following locations:

  • List of deadlines on the administrative homepage.
  • It appears on the "My Deadlines" section of the admin control panel.
  • Click on "My Deadlines" in the employee management menu in the top right corner of the admin control panel.
  • It appears on the calendar as a deadline.
  • It appears in the "Contacts" menu in the topbar of the admin control panel as a deadline.

Appointments

Appointments are an extension of the deadline system. When you flag a note as an appointment, the note still requires a deadline (this is the date on which the appointment takes place), but has the following special distinctions:

  • It appears on your list of deadlines on the administrative homepage.
  • It appears on the "My Appointments" section of the admin control panel.
  • Click on "My Appointments" in the employee management menu in the top right corner of the admin control panel.
  • It appears on the calendar as an appointment and a deadline.
  • It appears in the "Contacts" menu in the topbar of the admin control panel as a deadline and an appointment.

To mark a note as an "Appointment", simply select the "Appointment" label when creating the note.
