Pending Queue

The pending e-mail queue is list of unsent emails that we scheduled to send when the e-mail cron run. It is designed to prevent going over potential e-mail caps while also lightening the load on the server.

The e-mail queue is used for all of the following e-mail types:

• Campaign E-Mails (including SMS messages)
• Targeted Mass E-Mails (including SMS messages)

The queue is NOT used for the following emails, meaning these get priority over the above list:

• Template-based emails such as order receipts or registration confirmations
• E-Mails sent directly to a contact or member
