How do I integrate Facebook with Zenbership?
From Facebook
Visit Facebook and do the following:
- Log in to your Facebook account.
- Once logged in, click the "Settings" icon in the top right and then "Create an App"
- Click on "Create New App"
- Input an "App Name" and continue.
- Input your website's URL into "App Domains" as following:
- *.yoursite.com
- Make sure "yoursite.com" matches where Zenbership is installed.
- Under "Select how your app integrates with Facebook", select "Website with Facebook Login"
- Set "Site URL" to "http://www.yoursite.com/path/to/zenbership/custom/modules/facebook/"
- Save the changes.
- Make a note of your "App ID" and "App Secret".
From Zenbership
From your Zenbership admin control panel, do the following:
- Click on "Connect > Social Media: Options"
- Input your "App ID", "App Secret", and the full URL to the Facebook profile you want Zenbership to manage.
- Save the changes.
- From your Zenbership admin control panel, click on "Facebook Feed".
- The program will redirect you to Facebook. Confirm the App's request: you will be redirected back to Zenbership.
The program will store your confirmation token for up to 60 days (the limit imposed by Facebook). To ensure that the token remains valid, visit the "Facebook Feed" page at least once every 30 days.
Available Integration Features
You can now do all of the following within your Zenbership admin control panel:
- Post statuses.
- Delete statuses.
- View statuses.
- Set up automated Facebook campaigns.
- Auto-syncing of member, contact, and account profile pictures with Zenbership.
