Sending Individual SMS

Overview

Unlike targeted SMS messages, individual messages are sent to a single contact or member.

Important Notes

• The member or contact that you are texting must have both his/her cell phone provider and cell phone number on file to receive the SMS.
• On top of this, the member must not have "Opted Out" of receiving text messages.

Sending an Individual Message

• Load the slider for the contact of member that you wish to text message.
• Presuming the member or contact has a cell phone number and provider on file, the SMS icon will appear in the slider's primary navigation.
• Click the SMS icon.
• The "Send SMS" popup will appear:

• Compose your text message.
• Click on "Send" to send the SMS.
