Cropping and Editing Images

Overview

Zenbership is equipped with a based photo editing and manipulation system designed to make cropping and rotating images easier.

Cropping An Image

For this tutorial we will be cropping an event image. Because event images have specific dimension requirements, the program will automatically "force" those ratios. However for many images throughout the program, there are no such restrictions on ratios.

To begin cropping an event image, load the event slider and click on the "Files" tab. The event slider can be loaded by clicking on "Events" in the main navigation. A list of events will appear: click the event to which the image belongs. This will load the event slider.

Once you have loaded the "Files" tab, there are two types of images: cover photos and additional photos. Click here for discussion on the difference.

To begin editing an image, simply click the image to load the editor popup:

To crop the image, click the image where you want to start cropping. Drag the rectangle to the desired location on the popup on the image. The area you are going to "crop" will appear "lit up" while the area you are removing will be "blacked out".

If you are satisfied with the "lit up" area, click the "Crop" button at the top of the popup. This will complete the process of cropping the image. Click "Done" to close the popup, and then click the "Files" tab to reload the image in its cropped format.
