File List

A file list allows you to display all files tagged with a specific tag to a user. It also gives you the option of allowing users to upload files with that specific tag.

Purpose of this Widget

This widget generates a list of uploads that have been tagged with a specific label, and displays it to users on a content page or template. The program comes pre-packaged with an instance of this widget in the form of the "User Uploads" widget.

Creating an Instance

Each label will require a new instance of a "upload_list" widget. To install the upload list widget, you will need to download the "Upload List" widget from the Extension Store.

Establishing Options

Once you have installed the widget, from the administrative dashboard:

• Go to "Content > Widgets".
• Find the newly installed widget, and click to edit it.
• On the resulting popup, click on the "Settings" tab.
• Alter the settings to suit your needs.
• The "Label" setting controls which files will appear in this upload list. So for example you could specify the "myLabel" label in this setting to only display files that were tagged with the "myLabel" label.
• Note that labels are CaSe SenSiTive!
• Leave the option blank to show all files belonging to this member.
